THE PURPOSE OF OUR PROJECTS

The purpose of our projects is to experiment, explore, research and apply the ecological solutions that, once tested, are shared through our services. Our projects are like our ELIA-lab; a greenhouse where our creative seeds come to fruition and get ready for sharing with the world. Our projects are also tailored to raise awareness about the socio-economic and environmental interconnectivity of modern-day challenges; as such we shine light on what a whole solution for the shift to ecological sustainability entails.

Many of our projects are based on collaborative processes with partner organisations. At ELIA we deeply value that none of us is meant to do this alone and nobody has ‘the answer’. The old paradigm of ‘experts know best and will tell you what to do’ is over. In the shift to ecological living there are no answers and no ready-made solutions that can be imposed and transposed on all situations. Solutions emerge from learning how to shift our attention, comprehend interconnectedness, open our hearts to care and realise that each one of us has something valuable to offer.
