MIOD LogoThe Mauritius Institute of Directors (MIoD) is a non-profit company established in 2008, primarily to develop and promote corporate governance in Mauritius by instituting a professional forum for directors and managers within the public and private sectors. It is a membership organisation providing services to professionalize the status of its members and to enhance their ability by providing orientation, research, training and recognition, advisory services, assistance, networking and sharing of international best practices. MIoD and ELIA signed a MOU in March 2014 to combine their commitment and expertise to promote corporate sustainability and sustainability reporting in Mauritius. The Bureau de l’Education Catholique (BEC) is the executive office of the Roman BEC-logo-(new)Catholic Diocese of Port-Louis for its education services. It is a main private partner of the Ministry of Education & Human Resources, catering for around 35,000 children and youth in the free education system. BEC coordinates the administration of the 46 primary RCA schools and the main policy directions of the 18 catholic secondary schools with the collaboration of the other congregations.

GBCMGreen Building Council Mauritius (GBCM) – ELIA is a member of the GBCM. The GBCM was founded in 2009 by a group of Mauritian professionals, researchers and entrepreneurs eminent in the fields of green building and sustainable planning. An advisory board with broad international expertise works in tandem with the founding board. GBCM is a member of the World Green Building Council (WGBC).
